JCF Launches the Gift of Tzedakah Program for
Donor Advised Funds

Give the Gift of Tzedakah from your Donor Advised Fund!  Give family members, friends and business associates the privilege of recommending grants from your Donor Advised Fund at the Jewish Community Foundation of MetroWest NJ (JCF) to their favorite charities.

Give the Gift of Tzedakah to commemorate any occasion and share your passion for philanthropy!

It’s easy to give the Gift of Tzedakah.  Here’s how it works:

1. As an Advisor to a JCF Donor Advised Fund, complete the attached Gift of Tzedakah Certificate.  The certificate can also be downloaded from our website at www.jcfmetrowest.org/tzedakahcertificate.  Of course, you can always contact JCF for additional forms or assistance.
   
   
2. The Gift of Tzedakah Honoree then informs you, as the Advisor of the Donor Advised Fund, of the name and address of his or her favorite 501(c)(3) charity.
   
   
3. As Advisor to the Donor Advised Fund, you then complete a special Gift of Tzedakah Recommendation Form to initiate the grant.  The form is attached or can be downloaded from our website at www.jcfmetrowest.org/pdftzedakahrecommendation.  Also, an interactive version of the form is available online at www.jcfmetrowest.org/onlinetzedakahrecommendation. 
   
   
4. JCF will process the grant and send an acknowledgment to the Honoree.

The minimum Gift of Tzedakah grant amount is $100.  JCF will not disclose gift amounts to Honorees.
