JEWISH CAMPS
Many children with special needs in MetroWest attend public school or private secular programs. For these children, a Jewish summer camp experience is the perfect opportunity to socialize with peers and become immersed in an environment filled with Jewish identity and culture. For those students in day school programs during the year, Jewish summer camp is a wonderful chance to live the Jewish life they have been learning about with a wonderful community of peers. Jewish camp enables campers to explore their Judaism in new and different ways in the beautiful outdoors. There are many camp options for children with special needs, ranging from inclusive programs to self-contained programs within broader camps as well as camps specifically for children with special needs.
