Group presents Spring Fling in support of United Jewish Appeal
On April 15, the next generation of the MetroWest Jewish community came together in support of United Jewish Appeal at its annual Spring Fling.

Montclair synagogue members to host Israeli teens
Though they reside across the world from one another, adolescents in Montclair could soon discover they have much in common with their counterparts in Israel. A delegation of 22 high school students from Ra’anana, Israel, northeast of Tel Aviv, will visit Montclair next week. U.S.-Israeli Basketball Program Helps Those Less Fortunate
A joint U.S.-Israeli basketball initiative has been helping sick and underprivileged Israeli kids realize their hoop dreams. Haifa Hoops for Kids is a joint project between the Maccabi Haifa professional basketball team of the Israel Super League and United Jewish Communities of MetroWest New Jersey. The Jewish Federations of North America support JDC's fundraising campaign for victims of Haiti's devastating earthquake. JDC has raised more than $7.3 million to help provide hundreds of thousand of tent-city dwellers with clean drinking water; temporary schools for displaced children; medical care in remote coastal communities; state-of-the-art medical rehabilitation equipment, and other relief and recovery projects.
