Politics, Power & Jewish Women
A "How-To" Training

Creating a network of women in New Jersey who are committed to ensuring that Jewish women are at the
decision-making table

Why Should YOU Attend?
Whether you want to run for office or you want to support Jewish Women to run and win, this program is for you. We need to mobilize a winning team to show New Jersey that Jewish women matter.

Why is this Important Now?

  • Jewish women must become more involved in the political process to not fall behind Asian, Latino, and African American women who are organizing their power bases, running, and winning.
  • Gear up for the 2009 Elections, create a powerbase, and support other Jewish women who run for office. Women supporting women makes a difference. It's the way female candidates can win.
  • When women are at the decision-making table, the agenda changes. When Jewish women hold elected office they bring with them the specific values of Tikkun Olam, Tzedakah, and the priorities of the Jewish community.

Featuring a dynamic group of facilitators and a roundtable made up of Jewish women elected officials, this training will demystify the political process and enhance skills in fundraising, public speaking, and campaigning, which are useful for volunteering, board leadership, and advocacy.

This is a time when women's voices are being maximized. We need Jewish women
at the table.
