Annual Welcome the New Year Congregational Shabbat Dinner Temple B’nai Abraham, Livingston, invites you to join us for the Annual New Year Congregational Shabbat Dinner, sponsored by the temple’s Membership Committee, Sisterhood, Men’s Club, PTA and Early School Parent’s Council, on Friday, October 22 at 6:30 PM . All are welcome to attend… new, current , prospective and non-members! Costs for the dinner are: adults $20 per person; children 12 and under $8 and children under two are free. For dinner reservations, please contact the temple office at 973-994-2290. The evening begins with a Tot Shabbat for tots and pre-schoolers with their families at 6:00 PM, followed by the congregational dinner at 6:30 PM ,and then at 7:30 PM there will be Erev Shabbat Services during which there will be an Aleph Class ( third grade) Consecration ceremony. The ceremony marks the beginning of a young person’s formal Religious education. The students, under the direction of Religious School Director Janet Resnick, will be blessed by Rabbi Clifford Kulwin.
