ELIGIBILITY

Participants will be asked to make a minimum gift of $500 to the Israel Emergency Campaign. However, during the mission, you will have the opportunity to contribute to UJC's Israel Emergency Campaign that will help Israel after the war and during the ongoing crisis.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: (subject to change)

  • Meet with government officials
  • Attend a military briefing
  • Meet with residents of the North, beneficiaries of our collective generosity
  • Learn how our overseas partners, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and The Jewish Agency are addressing immediate needs resulting from the crisis.

REGISTRATION:

Applications are to be accompanied by a credit card number, which will be debited by a $500 deposit per person. Deadline for receipt of applications is Monday, August 28, 2006. Should the mission reach capacity before the stated deadline, registration will be closed. 

MISSION COST:

Flights:

  • Main flight Newark/Tel Aviv/Newark: $1,044 per person in coach; business class: an additional $2,624 – (subject to class of service availability)
  • Los Angeles/Tel Aviv/Los Angeles: $1,262 per person in coach

Land:

$1,150 per person, double occupancy (single supplement, $268).  Price includes one night at a deluxe hotel in Haifa, two nights at a deluxe hotel in Tel Aviv, meals, program, security, and gratuities.
