Itinerary Highlights

• Touring the archaeological excavation in King David's Jerusalem
• Visit the new Davidson Visitors' Center in the Southern Wall Archaeological Gardens
• Visit and explore the Western Wall and its recently excavated underground tunnels
• Meet participants of JDC’s “It’s a Deal” program at the Ein Yael Living Museum
• Travel to our P2K partnerships in Ofakim and Rishon LeZion
• Visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s national Holocaust Museum
• Ascend Masada and participate in a Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration for children on the trip
• Swim suspended in the Dead Sea
• Enjoy a scenic walk to the home of David Ben-Gurion followed by a trip to Independence Hall
• Experience the time period leading up to the founding of Israel at the Palmach Museum
• Descend into the reconstructed underground ammunitions factory at Givat HaKibbutzim in Rehovot

Mission Cost

Note: Costs include round trip airfare from New Jersey/Tel Aviv/New Jersey, accommodations, deluxe bus transportation with tour guide, daily buffet breakfast, six (6) lunches, seven (7) dinners, and hotel stays. Tips for guides, drivers, and hostesses are NOT included.

All participants will be asked to make a $500 family commitment to the 2008 United Jewish Appeal of MetroWest NJ Campaign.

Generally, according to the Internal Revenue Code, your gift is deductible only to the extent that it, plus your payments for this mission, exceed the benefit received. In addition, any payments for extra air/or land cost are not tax deductible.
