Simply create a donor-advised (“philanthropic”) fund at the JCF by Dec. 31, claim your charitable deduction for 2007, and then decide upon your charitable gift recommendations when it is convenient for you – in 2007, 2008, and throughout your lifetime or the lifetime of your successor. Gifts from your fund may be made as frequently or infrequently as you choose, in any amounts that you deem appropriate.
