It’s shaping up to be another exciting year for Jewish working women in the MetroWest community. Capitalizing on a successful launch of Beyond 9 to 5*, for Jewish Working Women, last year, a calendar of outreach, campaign, and networking events is scheduled for the coming year.
Maintaining a clear focus on the group’s mission has been a key element of success. Learning from the experiences of the past year, Beyond 9 to 5* has emerged as the place for dynamic women in the UJC MetroWest community to share personal and professional interests. This year's schedule will again include Book Group meetings. These informal gatherings have an enthusiastic following and have led to the formation of friendships and networking opportunities that extend beyond the events themselves.
The calendar of events also includes a wine tasting dinner on Thursday, Nov. 8, a spring campaign event, and the possibility of a four- or five-day international mission focused on understanding the lives and needs of Jewish businesswomen in locations actively served by the Jewish community. Possible locations include Paris, Budapest, Berlin, or Israel.
