Arthur Borinsky Young Leadership Development Program

The Arthur Borinsky Young Leadership Development Program is an annual program designed to provide Jewish adults, under age 45, the tools and experiences needed to become successful leaders of the Jewish community. The program provides participants with an overview of the resources and opportunities offered in the MetroWest Jewish community.

This program is an entry-point to learning about UJC MetroWest and its agencies, the valued role of leadership in the community, and how money is raised and allocated through the UJA MetroWest annual campaign. The courses are taught by professionals and volunteers in the MetroWest community who will share their knowledge and first-hand experiences.

As part of the Arthur Borinsky Young Leadership Development Program, participants have an opportunity to make on-site visits to a selection of agencies as part of a “mini-mission.” These visits enable participants to see first-hand the services and resources provided through UJC MetroWest and its agencies.

The Arthur Borinsky Young Leadership Development Program is named in blessed memory of Arthur Borinsky, who possessed extraordinary leadership abilities and contributed significantly to the MetroWest community. Robert Slater created the Arthur Borinsky Memorial Fund to honor this outstanding member of the MetroWest Jewish community.
