Cut It Out Program with Rachel Coalition
The Cut It Out Program helps victims of domestic violence by training salon professionals on how to identify domestic violence and how to tactfully refer appropriate clients to the professional help they need.
Rachel Coalition volunteers receive a two-hour free training and in turn teach salon professionals to identify domestic violence within their clientele and to refer victims to a professional counselor. Since victims often tell their trusted beauty professionals their most personal problems, Rachel Coalition volunteers also recruit salons in their own or nearby towns for this educational program. No previous training or experience is necessary.
