Campaign Update

Leslie Dannin RosenthalWe live in extraordinary times. And there are extraordinarily generous people who are part of the MetroWest community. The measure of that generosity is not simply in the amount of dollars any one person donates to the annual campaign, but in the response to the crisis we face in meeting the needs of the Jewish community.

Each of you who has already made your gift to the annual campaign has stepped forward to be counted as an optimist, saying, “Here I am, ready to be counted,” at a time when it was harder than ever to do so. And now, thanks to amazing optimists in our midst, those of us who have not yet made our gift can have any increase over last year’s gift matched. (And you can still increase a gift you made earlier this year!)

The matching challenge will run from March 22 through April 30, 2009. The power of each individual gift to change lives and save lives will be magnified by double during this time period — what an opportunity.

I am an optimist by nature; I see every glass as half-full. I am so grateful to be living in this amazing community, among women like each of you who make a difference every day.

Join me in envisioning a brighter future for the Jewish people. Make your increased contribution to the 2009 annual campaign during the challenge grant period and make your gift count even more!

Leslie Dannin Rosenthal,
Women’s Campaign Chair

There will not be a CHOICES program this spring. We would love to have you join us at one of our other exciting Women’s Philanthropy events. Please refer to the Calendar of Events (left) for more details on upcoming dates and links to registration.
