The Peoplehood Project is a 2-year program for a rising generation of MetroWest Jewish leaders, interested in building living bridges with our partner communities in Israel.
10 MetroWest leaders will work in tandem with a group of 10 rising leaders in our Israeli partner communities of Ofakim/Merchavim
Develop a mutual understanding of the challenges facing their
communities
Work together on a social service project, jointly developed and directed to answer those needs
Participate in an Israel-based seminar subsidized by UJC MetroWest
Cost: $750
Participants should be:
Emerging leaders in their community and have a meaningful commitment to Israel and tikkun olam.
Have a network of connections through which to build excitement regarding the projet they ultimately develop
Committed to continuing their involvement with the P2K enterprise, to market their experience, and to build Jewish Peoplehood
