A Hero of Our Time

One of the most overused words in our language is "hero." When sports figures have a great game, driving in runs at a critical time or pitching a shutout and so forth, they are referred to as heroes. Although their athletic achievements are admirable, they are not heroic. Not so with Natan Sharansky. He is a genuine hero.  >>MORE>>

Coming to America

They are young, enthusiastic, good-looking, Jewish, Israeli — and they are coming to MetroWest. Three young Israelis who are deferring their army service for a year, and two who have already finished the army, are preparing themselves for a year or two as shlihim (emissaries) for United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ.  >>MORE>>

Thinking about Transitions

have been thinking about transitions lately. I think as women we are constantly facing transitions and it makes us stronger. We change careers, we change diapers, we change, period.
