Our first weekend was spent exploring Route 10. At lunch time the kids insisted we try the place that makes those giant sandwiches, Blimpie. While we were standing in front of the cashier loudly discussing the multiple choices of our order, the owner, an Israeli looking guy, unexpectedly approached us with a big smile and asked us in perfect Hebrew where in Israel we were from. When I told him that I grew up in Ashkelon, he happily replied that we are neighbors. >>MORE>>
