The Solomon Schechter Day School of Essex and Union announced this week a $15 million challenge gift made in memory of longtime Maplewood resident Golda Och — the largest in the school's 45-year history and one of the largest endowment gifts ever made to a Jewish day school in North America. >>MORE>>

My kids in an effort to keep me entertained brought me a little low tech game to keep myself occupied. The game is called Find It. It is a large cylinder filled with tiny beads in a variety of colors with 40 or so tiny items camouflaged inside to find. This instantly made me think of how similar this was to our community.
