by a blog by Dana Lichtenberg, Vice Chair, Campaign Social Networking The Gift of Jewish Family Service I was first introduced to Jewish Family Service (JFS) of MetroWest in the fall of 2001. At drop-off one day, the preschool director asked if I would be interested in a mommy and me class for my daughter and I. We met the three other moms and their respective children. We sang songs, read stories, talked and played. At the conclusion of the class, the preschool director explained to us that another mom would joining us. She was a 9/11 widow and JFS had given her and her daughter the gift of this class. In that moment, we knew that this was different. >>MORE>>
