Young Leadership Division is for men and women who welcome the opportunity to meet new people and network, support Israel, and involve their families in Jewish life locally and around the world.

 You can do it all with the Young Leadership Division!
As part of United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ (UJC), Young Leadership Division includes people under age 45 in Essex, Morris, Sussex, and northern Union counties. UJC supports 20 local agencies, is home to more than 65 synagogues, and partners with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and The Jewish Agency for Israel to improve the lives of Jews everywhere. UJC agencies support people at home, in Israel, and in Jewish communities around the world by:

• Feeding the hungry
• Caring for the elderly
• Educating our youth
• Assisting the developmentally disabled
• Providing aid to Jewish communities in distress

All this is made possible through the United Jewish Appeal (UJA), the fundraising arm of UJC. Through the annual UJA Campaign, we raise the funds necessary to meet these needs – and many more.

Every dollar makes a difference.
Here are a few examples:
$365 Livnot Society
can provide one year of transportation to medical appointments for the elderly

$1,000 Ben Gurion Society
can provide the first month’s rent for an abused woman to secure her own apartment

$3,600 Knesset Level
can provide 48 career counseling sessions for the unemployed

$10,000 Major Gifts Level
can provide 170 winter-relief packages of blankets, fuel, and clothing for the elderly in the former Soviet Union

Members of these societies receive special invitations to events, pre-receptions, missions around the world, national leadership conferences, and more.
