Dedicated to the vision of a bright future for our Jewish community, the Lester Society was established in 1993. Currently there are 257 Lester Society members, with commitments exceeding $100 million. Lester Society members establish endowments of $100,000 or more that benefit in perpetuity the annual campaign of the United Jewish Appeal of MetroWest NJ.
Ultimately, Lester Society endowments will help feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, educate the young and comfort the old. Through the Society, we will reach beyond our geographic and religious boundaries to extend our community's vision of providing social justice and acts of kindness to the world at large.
You may create your endowment or unrestricted gift through a variety of vehicles, some of which provide your state with considerable tax benefits without the requirement that you contribute during your lifetime. These options allow you to perpetuate your commitment to the UJA campaign in a way that best achieves your personal financial estate planning goals.
