Thank you for your continued support for the State of Israel. The citizens of Israel and all of world Jewry deeply appreciate the interest and concern you've shown for America's great friend and ally in the Middle East.

The fight against terror represents the will for freedom-loving people everywhere to live in a world of peace and tolerance. Like America, Israel is also engaged in a critical fight against terrorism. Israel has had to commit significant human and financial resources to protect the lives of innocent civilians in its hotels, buses, malls, neighborhood cafes and pizza shops. These efforts have severely strained an already-fragile economy.

United Jewish Communities, a philanthropic organization which seeks to help those in Israel, in America, and throughout the world - Jew and non-Jew alike - is committed to helping meet the needs of some of Israel's most vulnerable citizens particularly in this time of deep crisis. Israel has served as a beacon in the past for Jews in need from the former Soviet Union and Ethiopia, just as it does today for the troubled Jewish community of Argentina. We stand in support of Israel now and forever, and urge you to continue your efforts to bring an end to the reign of terror that threatens the lives of Israelis and Israel's very existence.

We all hope and pray for a time when the Jewish state can live in harmony with its neighbors, and that Israelis can continue their lifestyle of democratic freedom without fear, and without terror.
