UJC Community Relations Committee to feature
Menendez, Kean at Senatorial Forum on Oct. 18

WHO:       Community Relations Committee, United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ

WHAT:     U.S. Senatorial Candidates Forum featuring sequential appearances by U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D) and N.J. State Senator Tom Kean, Jr. (R). Questions will be posed by panelists and from the audience. Possible topics to be discussed include U.S. Middle East Policy, National Security, Medicaid/Medicare and Senior Issues, and Stem Cell Research. The event is free and open to the public. This forum is the only Jewish community-sponsored event featuring both candidates statewide.

Other sponsoring organizations include American Jewish Committee, Metro NJ Chapter; American Jewish Congress, NJ Region; Anti-Defamation League, NJ Region; Association of Jewish Federations of New Jersey; Community Relations Council, Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey; Community Relations Council, Jewish Federation of Greater Monmouth County; JCRC of the Jewish Federation of Greater Monmouth County; JCRC of the UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey; National Council of Jewish Women, Essex County and West Morris sections; National Jewish Democratic Council; Northern New Jersey Region of Hadassah; Republican Jewish Coalition; and Women’s American ORT, a member of ORT America.
